Our three-day tour to Lake Kel-Suu will not only give you a unique opportunity to explore one of the most remote and picturesque places in the country, but also to immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz people. Lake Kel-Suu, located at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level, amazes with its scale and extraordinary beauty. In addition, during the tour you will also enjoy a shyrdak show, where masters recreate ancient techniques and share their artistic heritage.
Day 1
We leave Bishkek at 08:00. The first stop is the Bom Gorge, where nature begins to reveal itself in all its beauty. Here we will also try the famous kattama - traditional layered flatbread with homemade kaymak and tea from a Russian samovar. Next we visit the Ortotokoy Reservoir, an ideal place for lovers of picturesque landscapes. We have lunch in the city of Naryn, and then our route passes through the Bosogo Panorama to the Kulzhy Bashi Canyons. The evening ends with dinner and an overnight stay in a yurt camp in the valley near Lake Kel-Suu.
Day 2
The day begins with a delicious home-cooked breakfast, after which we finally head to Lake Kel-Suu. The path to the lake (about 7.5 km one way) can be walked, horseback ridden or transported. At the lake, boat rides, hiking trails and photo sessions await us, as well as lunch with lunch boxes. After returning to the yurt camp, we head to a cozy guest house in Naryn for dinner, where we will spend the night.
Day 3
After breakfast at the guest house, we head to Kochkor village for a fascinating shyrdak show, where you will have a unique opportunity to get to know the local traditions and crafts better. After a delicious lunch at the guest house, we head for a walk through the impressive Kok-Moinok canyons. Our day will end with a delicious dinner and a relaxing rest in Kemin before returning to Bishkek.
