The Ak-Sai Glacier hike in the Ala-Archa Gorge offers spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and juniper forests, starting with a forest trail to the Broken Heart Rock and Ak-Sai Waterfall. The climb to the Ratseka Hut and exploration of the Ak-Sai Glacier concludes with a return to town in the evening for dinner.
Bishkek
In the morning our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Ala-Archa National Park, located 40 km from the city. In an hour you will find yourself in a picturesque gorge, where majestic snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows decorated with a carpet of flowers and slopes covered with juniper forest will open up to your eyes.
Ala-Archa National Park
The hike will last about 7 hours (depending on the physical fitness of the group), and during this time we will show you the most beautiful gorge in the vicinity of Bishkek and tell you why Ala-Archa is so popular among tourists and climbers. We will visit the famous "Broken Heart" stone, where a breathtaking panoramic view of the Ala-Archa gorge opens up.
Ala-Archa National Park
Here we will take a bunch of photos for memory and then head to the impressive Ak-Sai waterfall. Our last stop will be at the Ratseka hut, a mountain refuge for climbers, where we will enjoy stunning views of the Ak-Sai glacier and rest before starting the descent.
Ascent to the Racek Hut
Back in the city, we will enjoy dinner at a national restaurant where you can try the local cuisine. Get ready for a delicious culinary experience! Afterwards, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Bishkek, which will be the end of our tour.
